The 2018 Multi-Monitor LCD Arm is an attractive and functional device. Substantial height flexibility and components that allow precise LCD monitor placement are great reasons to consider these multi-mount LCD arms. The included Flexible Mounting Kit C can be configured to attach to most vertical and horizontal surfaces. This multi-monitor arm also boasts sliding tilter heads that allow each monitor to be precisely positioned. Cables are managed with clips on the horizontal Arc beam. Wiring is further managed through a wire trough located on the lifting arm. This LCD arm counterbalances your monitors so that they float from position to position with the touch of the hand. We recommend this LCD arm for installations where minimal forward and backward movement will be required. Unlike many of our other arms, this device has two points of lateral articulation instead of three. Please consult our specifications to ensure this is the correct product for your application. Metallic Gray option provides an extremely attractive and subtle two-tone powder coat treatment
Choose the desk clamp, through-desk or wall mount as your mounting option and you actually are getting a kit that can be configured in any of these ways. The wall mount configuration of this kit adds some spring to the arm that is evident immediately after releasing the arm when repositioning. It is certainly secure, but some prefer using the optional HD wall mount in place so that the arm stabilizes immediately after repositioning
The full 17.75" of vertical travel is automatically realized when the unit is wall mounted. When mounted to a desk, the unit's downward motion will be impeded by either the monitor bottoms or the elbow. So, to mount to a desk and get most of the vertical travel that is available, select the 6" vertical extension option
The 2018-2 and the 2018-3 have some lateral play—about 1" for the 2018-2 and 1.5" for the 2018-3. If you require "rock-solid" rigidity and steadiness the moment you finish your adjustment, you may be slightly disappointed with the performance of this arm. It has a tendency to settle for a second or two after resetting the position
