Side View Arm in Highest Position from Work Surface
The SAA2415 arm has an available vertical travel
of just over 14.5 inches. The image to the left shows that the highest
position of the VESA plate when the arm is clamped to a
work surface. When lowered the "elbow" will be stopped by the table
surface which allows about a 10 inches vertical travel. Note that
the vertical extension and the wall mounted configuration do not
have this problem. |

The SAA2415 arm in horizontal position
places the center of the VESA plate about 10.5 inches off of the surface.
In this position the arm reaches out over 21 inches. |

When attached to a work surface, the lowest position possible is 6.5 inches. |

If
mounted in such a manner that the lower part of the arm does not
run into obstructions, then it places the center of the VESA
plate 4.25 inches above the base line. |

Top View HD LCD Monitor Arm Folded and Extended
The illustration to the left depicts the top view of the Ergomart SAA2415 HD LCD Monitor Arm.
This monitor arm folds up to 3.75" from the wall out to over 21 inches of full extension. The wire management allows the cords to be threaded through the entire arm, including the elbow swivel joint. |

Wall Mount Vertical Movement
The Ergomart SAA2415 arm has an available
14.6 inches vertical travel. When the arm is wall mounted or mounted in such a manner that the lower part of the arm does not run into obstructions, full vertical range of 14.6 inches is possible.
Wall mounted options allow for the full 14.6 inches of vertical travel of the SAA2415 without any extensions.

The from the back of the Wall Mount to the end of the arm in the middle horizontal setting, the SAA2415 arm has over 22 inches of reach.

LCD Monitor Arm Five Inch Vertical Extension
This extension helps to provide more of the vertical travel that is available when the base is elevated up from the desk clamp. The bottom of the monitor display may rest on the surface or the monitor arm can be elevated up to 23.75 inches above the surface. This kind of vertical travel ensures that most people under 6' tall will be comfortable either sitting or standing. If the distance from the bottom edge of the monitor to the middle of the VESA connection is less than 9.25 inches, then the monitor will not touch the surface and will have a vertical travel of about 17.5 inches. |
