| Users who
desire sit to stand flexibility may require the 2 inch or 6 inch extension.
The image below depicts the placement of the center of the SAA7000 VESA plate and its distance to the table top using the 4 in 1 flex mount configured
as a table clamp. If unobstructed, wall mounting or mounting to
vertical surfaces will allow for full vertical travel of about 16 inches. |
 |
Use the SAA7000 for all seated LCD viewing applications.
When attached with the desk edge clamp allows up to 10 inches vertical travel. The
SAA7000 provides plenty of height adjustability for virtually any
requirement for seated desk height use. If the mount is located
at the very top of the monitor, you may want to add a 2 inch extension to ensure seated LCD viewing comfort
for all people. |

SAA7000 with Wall Mount |
 |
Desk
edge mount with 2 inch extension provides up to 12 inches of vertical travel.
If your VESA
mounting interface is toward the bottom of your display, then this
can be the better extension choice. |
 |
Desk
edge mount with 6 inch extension provides up to 13 inches of vertical travel.
This extension works great for displays with the
VESA
mounting interface located in the center of the back. The bottom
of many monitors usually ends up about at the top of the table surface. When attached to a work surface, the lowest position possible is 5 inches, as shown in the bottom drawing. |
 |
VESA mounting location effects height positioning.
Where
the mount attaches to each specific VESA compatible LCD often effects the vertical travel capability of the
SAA7000. Many monitors mount right in the vertical center of the
back. Others may mount lower or higher.
If
you want or need sit and stand capability, determine the location
where it attaches to the arm mounting bracket and then review the
illustrations below to determine which extension is appropriate. |
