Side View A Desk Clamp Standard
If a table skirt or other obstruction runs along the underside of the surface, it must 2 inches or greater from the table edge. The maximum surface thickness in this arrangement is 2.5 inches. The minimum capability of the clamp is .75 inches.
Side View C Modified Desk Clamp Skirts and Supports
The small L bracket is repositioned so that if a table skirt or other obstruction runs along the underside of the surface is as close as 1.25" from the surface edge, the clamp can still be affixed to the edge. WARNING: The arm should not be allowed to rotate out behind the surface as the clamp is not completely stable.
