If you are buying a flush LCD wall
mount, then it's a good idea to view the flat screen monitor in
the position you plan to use it. Occasionally unanticipated
glare will interfere with viewing ease and comfort. Many glare
problems can be eliminated or reduced by using an arm or mount that
has a tilt and swivel capability.
The
WM9110 is only a few dollars more than our flush mount WM9135, and with an optional extension, it has lateral adjustability that
can further help eliminate glare or simply provide better positioning. Of
course the WM9110 as well as the FS470 protrude from the wall about
3" further than our flat mount when they are tucked against
the wall.
LCD
touch screen applications are well suited to the WM9110. Each
moving joint on this arm may be adjusted to increase or reduce friction. If
you require rigidity from your LCD touch screen arm, this arm has
the capability to provide enhanced resistance to movement when tightened
and free-floating ease when loosened.
For heavier LCD monitors, investigate the above WM20HD. This is a
clean, durable, American-made product that handles heavy LCDs and lighter
weight plasmas with hole VESA hole patterns up to 200 x 200mm.

arms. Our SAA7000 has recently been upgraded to travel almost 16 inches
vertically and has weight ranges available up to 28 pounds. This
product cost less than $200 and should be at the top of the list to consider
if you want a wall mounted device with vertical travel at a reasonable cost.
The
FS470 is our most stylish fixed-height wall mount solution. Constructed
of die-cast aluminum components, it moves the viewing plane from
approximately 7" from the wall out to about 21". The
actual VESA mount
is located less than 4" from wall.
Check
your flat screen display for VESA 75mm or 100mm mounting compatibility. If your monitor does
not have such compatibility, contact us, we have some "off-the-shelf" product that may allow us to adapt your non VESA LCD standard product to our LCD arm or wall mount. |
