"Positive Tilt" is when the back side of the keyboard is higher than the front. We offer the positive tilt lockout for those who do not want to utilize positive tilt. Many "old school" ergonomists wish to encourage certain upright seated working postures for groups of computer interfacing employees. The trend seems to be moving away from this restriction as more work environments lend themselves to comprehensive kits of equipment that function harmoniously to promote a full range of sitting and standing postures. Reclining back ergonomic chairs, height adjustable tables, premium ergonomic keyboard arms (without positive tilt lockout) and easy to adjust monitor arms with ample forward travel all combine to create the pinnacle of ergonomic accommodation for computer bound workers.
