It can also be used as an height adjustment and work positioning device by attaching it to a surface below and affixing it to a rigid worktop. Such a work platform can be up to 30" wide and 12" deep. And it's so strong it will handle static loads in excess of 25 pounds.

Important: The addition of the quicklift adds ten pounds to the load on the lifting arm. Using both hands on either side of the tray is suggested when adjusting the height of a Quicklift loaded arm. Simply tilting the tray back without a firm grip can result in the loaded arm dropping forcefully into the lowest position.
