Optional VESA Sizes to Handle Larger or Heavier Monitors
The Adjustable MSU4X6 can fit any VESA hole pattern between 100mm (height) x 300mm (width) and 400mm (height) x 600mm (width). From its largest position, the vertical bars can be reversed and slid inward to fit smaller LCD or plasma screens. The Twin Tilter Rotation Plate can take the place of the standard Twin Tilter VESA creating a Reset Kit for the MSU4x6 VESA adapter bracket. The Rest Kit allows the MSU4x6 to be rotated to and from the vertical and horizontal positions. The kit includes a thumbscrew that fixes the MSU4x6 in position relative to a slot in the Twin Tilter Rotation Plate. To reset the monitor, remove the thumbscrew, rotate the monitor and replace the thumbscrew. Having one person manage the monitor while another adjusts the thumbscrew is recommended. This feature is also helpful for leveling large unbalanced monitors.
PM80 SAMPLE MONITOR HEIGHTS AND ESTIMATED TILT RANGES
The actual pole will naturally create an impediment to the tilt range based on the height of the monitor... The below table predicts the approximate tilt range of various LCD monitors and TV monitors with a VESA hole pattern vertically centered. When the pole does not obstruct the tilt of the monitor, tilt capability is greatly increased. If the monitor is attached to the bottom of a drop down pole, it can be set to tilt down as much as 44 degrees. Conversely, a monitor atop a pole can tilt as much a 90 degrees upward! This means the monitor can literally be parallel to the floor, facing the ceiling.

The MSU4X6 VESA plate can adapt to VESA patterns from 100mm x 300mm up to 400mm x 600mm. The vertical bars can be reversed and slid inward to create its smallest size. The MSU4x6 VESA option also attaches to the Twin Tilter VESA 100x200mm plate.

All VESA plate measurements are typically described in millimeters.  These measurements are industry standards. You may measure the distance between the screw holes on the back of your monitor to determine your VESA hole pattern. The chart below converts the millimeter measurements into inches:

Q: What exactly is the MSU4X6 Vertical/Horizontal Reset Kit?
A: The MSU4X6 is an adjustable VESA bracket that fits VESA hole patterns from 100x300mm to 400x600mm. The Vertical/Horizontal Reset Kit is an additional plate and hardware set that is installed between the tilter heads and the MSU4X6 VESA Bracket. It allows users to "reset" their monitor, back and forth, from vertical position to horizontal position. The process should involve one person adjusting the monitor and bracket while another person removes and resets the kit hardware in the new position.
