The SAA179 LCD Monitor Arm provides excellent adjustability and effortlessly floats LCD and LED monitors as well hefty touchscreen monitors and even big 27" all-in-PCs and iMacs of all sizes. This very compact monitor arm has an angled forearm that preserves the full range of vertical travel as the user moves the arm through its full range of motion. When folded in on itself, positioned at or against the mounting surface, the SAA179 collapses to about 3.9" of depth. When mounted with a KIT A to a horizontal surface that stops the downward travel of the lifting arm, the SAA179 achieves just under 8" of vertical range (please see specification tab images). When mounted to a pole or vertical surface where there are no obstructions, the downward movement of the lifting arm achieves its full range of vertical travel of nearly 10". Using the 2” or 6” vertical extension option will allow the arm to achieve its full vertical transit of over 9.5”. The triple articulating arm rotates 360° in the mount, elbow and tilter head. The tilter head mechanism tilts more than 200°. Maneuver a monitor with fingertip ease and achieve maximum mobility in a minimum of space.

Selecting the Flexible Mount Kit A supplies a highly configurable mounting kit that can be assembled as a clamp to desk edge mount, thru desk mount, wall mount, or box edge mount. Other more application specific mounts are available and provide alternative heavy duty, use appropriate and aesthetic solutions. The SAA179 easily handles monitors up to 30" (screen size measured diagonally). The LCD mounting arm is available in two standard weight ranges. Contact Ergomart for assistance if your monitor weighs less than 9 pounds. Weigh your monitor without the stand to determine which arm weight range (gas spring cylinder) and which tilter head best fits your specific monitor.

The purchasing options on this page provide a great deal of flexibility in configuring your product. Please be aware that Mount Kit A is incompatible with the Heavy-Duty Horizontal extensions and the 5", 8", and 12" vertical extensions.

The measurements in these drawings are relative to a generic mounting kit into which the arm is installed: the horizontal measurements are relative to the center of the mounting pin, while the vertical measurements are relative to the top of the mounting kit. As you configure your mounting solution, please refer to the specifications of the individual mounting kits to determine the reach and adjustment range within your workspace.

As a result, the total instant vertical adjustability will be limited to 8.9" (7.7" with Mount Kit A) compared to 9.5" with the wall mount option. To reclaim the range of motion, optional vertical extensions can be added. Please note, Mount Kit A is not compatible with the 5, 8 and 12 inch extensions.

This large VESA bracket is intended for mounting a monitor or TV with a 200x200 mm, 100x200 mm, or 120x180 mm hole pattern. The central hole patterns are 50x50 mm, 75x75 mm, and 100x100 mm, enabling this bracket to attach to the mounting location (e.g. an Ergomart Tilter Head) using a VESA 75/100 adaptor.
