Our new TRS2415 LCD Arm Keyboard Tray Combo is designed for intensive use in demanding environments.  This combination of components is appropriate for busy medical workstations and intensive use in technical, manufacturing and industrial settings. The TRS2415 works with LCD monitors weighing as much as 45 pounds. The system delivers users with an intuitive and logical ease of use and movement.  Move the unit by placing hands on either side of keyboard.  Moderate effort is required to lower and raise the unit.  No knobs or tools are ever used after initial setup.  It can be configured for use with a keyboard only or for a keyboard and mouse. Both keyboard tray and monitor can be tilted to most required angles. Flip the keyboard tray up and the entire arm can be quickly and compactly positioned out of the way. The arm and tray rotate 360° with three points of articulation while cables are routed beneath both major arm components.

The MouseTrap manages your mouse cable and traps the mouse when the keyboard tray is folded up.
The MouseTrap is included with the 26" tray. Clip it at the back of either end of the tray. The MouseTrap securely cradles the mouse when the keyboard tray is folded into the vertical position and allows instant access when the tray is opened flat.

If your monitor falls into a gray area, where tilter head specifications overlap, consider the following: monitor thickness (touch-screens especially tend to be front heavy and thicker), frequency of tilt adjustment desired and/or the added use of a thin client holder or bracket between the monitor and tilter.

 

The thicker the monitor, the greater the lever force delivered by the monitor or payload. If you will adjust the tilt frequently, opt for the stronger tilter head. A flat screen monitor of standard thickness that is not touch screen can typically use the less strong tilter head option. The TRS2415 LCD monitor arm with keyboard tray has a total vertical travel range of over 14" providing there are no obstructions.

The TRS2415 extends out over 37" from the wall and folds in to 16.4" from the wall with the keyboard tray still extended.

Adding extensions can increase the total vertical travel and maximum height of the arm if it is obstructed by a desk.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The point where the arm attaches to the L bracket can be set lower in 2" increments. This option is understood by looking at the above image on the left. The keyboard tray and monitor can assembled so that the tray is at 1.5" above the surface in the lowest position or even flush when the unit is fully lowered. Please see frame 2 on the TRS2415 Instruction Manual for more information.

The monitor is adjustable along the 6.6" monitor mounting slot allowing for precise positioning. When the arm and tray are completely folded, the arm extends only 8.75" from the wall.
