* The 9109 tilter mechanism allows the monitor to tilt upward over 90° and forward to tilt up to 45°. The forward tilt is usually restricted by the pole when the LCD monitor itself can tilt no further when it touches the pole. Negative or backward tilt can be substantial when the tilter (mount) mechanism is at the top of the pole. This may facilitate monitor viewing from the standing posture.

These 9109S stands are not specifically designed for "sit stand" functionality since the height adjustment is neither instantaneous nor substantial. In fact, it takes both hands to raise and lower the LCD mounting arm. We call these type products "set and forget." These LCD stands can be very useful in workstations that are shared by workers on different shifts. At the beginning of a new shift the user can take a few moments to set height, angle and placement based on personal preference.
