When you factor in the depth of the Ergomart SAA4229 Heavy Duty LCD Monitor Arm, the actual viewing plane of the display can to be moved from about 5.75 inches from the back of the mount out to almost 46 inches with the wall mount.

HIGH and LOW VERTICAL POSITIONS
Ergomart's SAA4229 has a maximum 29 inch vertical travel. When the arm is wall mounted, as shown, or mounted so that the lower part of the arm does not run into obstructions, full vertical range is possible. (See also Mounting Specifications.)

COMPARISON OF STANDARD HEIGHT AND OPTIONAL EXTENSION FOR THE SAA4229 LCD MONITOR ARM


	SAA4229 users over 6' 6" tall who desire sit / stand flexibility may require the 5 inch extension (shown above, right) if the SAA4229 arm is attached to a desktop. Unobstructed wall mounting or mounting to vertical surfaces will allow for full vertical travel of about 29 inch and do not require the 5 inch extension. The 8 inch extension (shown, left) is only available in black.
