The MKIT‑T2 Pole Mount provides an installation point along a compatible Series 118 pole for bottom-mounted Ergomart Series 118 arms.
This feature is useful in a number of scenarios, in particular, in cases where the Series 118 pole is attached to a mounting point overhead. The bottom mounted arm then allows for the monitor or workstation to be lowered into the workspace, maximizing its vertical range of motion. The modular nature of Ergomart’s product offering provides several ways to create an overhead mounting point. For example, the Roller Track system can be paired with P118 poles secured onto an MKIT-M2 positioner or an MKIT-N2 trolley, allowing the poles to extend down into the work envelope. From there, the MKIT-T2 and a bottom-mounted arm combine to create a height adjustable workstation suitable for multi-user and/or sit-stand applications. The image to the right below illustrates a different application, where a bottom-mounted keyboard arm is installed to an MKIT-T2 below a multi-monitor Roller Track setup to create a custom workstation with horizontal mobility.
Installation is straightforward: position the MKIT-T2 to your desired height along the pole, tighten the two screws to secure it, then install the arm by inserting its pin from below into the receiver end of the MKIT-T2 and capturing it with a retainer (available with the arm or separately). A shaft collar is attached below the MKIT-T2 in such applications. This creates a height‑adjustable mounting point for monitors, tablets, workstations, and other devices. The MKIT-T2 also adds 2” of articulating horizontal reach for clearance and flexibility.
Machined from aluminum and finished in durable matte black, the mount provides stability while maintaining a compact footprint that keeps your workspace clear.
