Increase productivity and relieve the discomfort and ill-effects of sitting for long periods of time with the Dorian sit-to-stand workstation. Quickly adjust the height of the desktop computing station with the press of a button. Just over 17 inches of height adjustability provides sit-to-stand capabilities for users up to 6' 5" tall.

The ample work surface provides room for not only your keyboard and mouse, but other small essentials, keeping them within easy reach even when the Dorian is moved to a higher position. To change the height, the user simply needs to press a button on the edge of the worksurface and lift or lower the device. A motion assist mechanism inside the main column helps to create smooth and easy vertical movement. The workstation will lock in place once the button has been released. The Dorian's design not only keeps the unit steadfastly in place once positioned, it is constructed to minimize movement created by heavy-handed keyboarding. A mini tray is located beneath the monitor to hold small items such as pens, smartphones and keys.

While the relative height of the monitors' positions above the work surface is set at assembly time, it can be changed in under two minutes if later required. Once the device setup is completed, the monitors and work surface will move up and down in tandem. Each monitor can independently tilt up and down, swivel left to right and rotate from landscape to portrait. The two monitors on the outside are placed on extension beams which can be angled to create an arc-like configuration using the hinges that connect the extensions to the central beam.

The Dorian typically sits on top of a desk using a large, heavy base which keeps the device stable. Pads beneath the base facilitate movement on top of the desk for better positioning. Clamp and through-desk mounting is also available.

The total weight capacity of the Dorian Triple is between 15-36 pounds. This is the total of all the monitors to be mounted and the items on the work surface, which will vary depending on the user.

DORIAN TRIPLE
MAXIMUM MONITOR WIDTH WHEN ANGLED

DOR3 triple sit-stand workstation specification drawing showing maximum monitor width in curved configuration

The Dorian Triple has outer beams that can be angled in for a curved viewing experience. In this case, the maximum allowable width for the monitors is slightly diminished from when they are flat. At a 20 degree angle, the maximum width can be around 24 inches, assuming the monitors are two inches deep.

DORIAN TRIPLE
MAXIMUM MONITOR WIDTH WHEN FLAT

Many gamers and programmers can benefit greatly by integrating the Dorian Triple. Where users choose to have their monitors in a flat configuration each monitor’s maximum width will be approximately 27 inches wide.

  • Can I adjust the height of the horizontal beam?

You can loosen the beam to set it anywhere along the column as you see fit, but you will need to remove the monitors before doing so.

  • Does the desktop lift electronically?

No the desktop lifts by pressing a button and lifting the desktop base with your hands. However, we have an electric powered model called the Winston-E.

  • What are the dimensions of the base of the Dorian?

22 inches deep, 20.5 inches wide.

  • Do these wobble when you type?

No, they are very sturdy and will not move unless someone types with excessive force.

  • Do all of my monitors needs to be the same size and weight to use this product?

Each Dorian has a total capacity weight range it can handle. Minor variations in monitor width and weight (up to 5 pounds difference between heavier and lighter) are generally acceptable. IMPORTANT NOTE: Different monitors will often not center the same when placed side by side based on their VESA hole pattern locations. You may be able to adjust the relative height of the monitors using a height adjustable VESA plate. Please call an Ergomart representative with details.

  • What is the base made of? How can I be sure it’s sturdy and won’t tip or wobble?

The freestanding Dorian base consists of a 1/4" steel plate. The column is offset towards the back to provide sufficient tray support for the majority of applications. The clamp mounted option provides additional stability by fastening the column of the Dorian to an 8" wide desk-clamp that is constructed of 1/4" sheet metal steel.

  • Is there a way to attach a CPU or thin client to the beam?

In some cases a thin client may be mounted above one of the tilter heads behind a monitor. For further assistance with this request or others like it please contact customer service.

  • My three monitors are 26 inches wide and won’t fit on your DOR3, If I buy a DOR4 for them, would that work?

Yes this should work just fine but please contact customer support to make sure the assembly will work as you are planning. Have the actual width dimensions (not diagonal measurement) of your monitor handy for quicker assistance.
