According to several medical studies, spending the majority of the day in a sitting posture can adversely affect health in a variety of ways. Sit-stand ergonomic products are designed to allow workers to alternate between sitting and standing at their desks throughout the day. The IS-SS Cobra sit-to-stand articulating keyboard platform and spring-assisted mechanism form a combination that is practically impossible to beat in performance, cost and durability.
From a track height of 27.5" (corresponding to a 28.5" tall work surface), the arm raises 7.5" to accommodate most standing workers up to 5’ 6”. The tray height is adjusted effortlessly using the intuitive lift-and-release mechanism to position it anywhere within the vertical range of 13.25" without the need for knob activation. The workstation arm rotates 360 degrees at the base, where the mechanism meets the track. The arm is compatible with a large variety of different trays that include options such as keyboard and mouse gel palm rests.
The IS-SS offers a keyboard tray tilt adjustment from -20° to +10°. Some ergonomic guidelines suggest that positive tilt may be detrimental to wrist comfort and safety. The "positive tilt lockout" selection on the IS-SS restricts the motion to the negative range.
This adjustable keyboard tray system offers, as standard, the ability to rotate the mechanism a full 360° where the arm meets the track. Select the "front swivel" option if you would like to add the ability to rotate the keyboard tray 360° on the arm mechanism.

This particular keyboard tray does not have a wrist or palm pad. This platform is made for specific keyboards that generally fit over the entire tray, specifically the Microsoft® Natural™, Natural Elite™, and Natural Pro™ keyboards. At the time of the writing of this response, 3M was manufacturing a retrofit palm rest solution called the MMMWR314LE that could serve as a solution.
