The SAA2045 LCD Monitor Arm provides excellent vertical travel in its most compact position. This articulating arm collapses to a slim 3.8 inches in depth—virtually folding flat against a wall!—yet up to 16 inches of vertical travel is also possible when it is tucked flat against the wall. This LCD monitor arm rotates an amazing 360° at the base, has three movable joints, and allows flat screen monitor tilt to down 45° or up parallel to the ceiling. Float your flat panel monitor above the work surface while enjoying fingertip adjustment of monitor height and position.
Select our Flexible Mount Kit A—which includes the compact wall mount—or from optional mounts to find the best monitor mount for your needs. Regardless of which of the possible mounts you choose, the SAA2045 handles LED and LCD monitors up to 27 inches in size. To determine monitor size, measure your monitor diagonally (a 27 inch monitor is typically 24 inches wide). Note that there are three weight ranges available with this monitor arm. Determine the weight of your monitor without the stand before ordering this product.
The purchasing options on this page provide a great deal of flexibility in configuring your product. Please be aware that Mount Kit A is incompatible with the Heavy-Duty extensions and the 5", 8", and 12" vertical extensions.

This large VESA bracket is intended for mounting a monitor or TV with a 200x200 mm, 100x200 mm, or 120x180 mm hole pattern. The central hole patterns are 50x50 mm, 75x75 mm, and 100x100 mm, enabling this bracket to attach to the mounting location (e.g. an Ergomart Tilter Head) using a VESA 75/100 adaptor.
The large 200x400 mm VESA adaptor plate supports 50 mm, 75 mm, 100 mm and 200 mm square patterns, as well as 100x200 mm, 120x180 mm, 200x300 mm and 200x400 mm rectangular patterns. In some cases an additional 75 or 100 mm VESA adaptor is needed to interface the 200 x 400 mm VESA plate to the mounting location.

Absolutely. Once the monitor is installed on the mounted arm, you will be able to grasp the monitor like a steering wheel and turn it. You will NOT be able to rotate the rotation mechanism with your bare hands before you attach the monitor; you must have the leverage that the monitor provides.
Contact Ergomart by phone (888 420 3200), and we will provide an alternate bolt that will accommodate the thickness of your surface. Make certain you have received a written confirmation with a notation of the change on your sales order.
In general terms, this product is covered from the ship date for five years. The gas spring cylinder is warranted to maintain 95% of its stated maximum load for five years, and the overall arm is warranted against defects and premature wear during that period. For 24/7 environments, these are rated at three years. Any SAA2045 sold after Oct. 1, 2010 comes with this stated warranty and is not subject to prorating limitations found in the second and third paragraph the general warranty. The customer pays for shipping back to the factory for factory repair. No product is accepted for repair or replacement without a return authorization provided via email and / or fax from Ergomart.
When the arm is attached to a desktop or other horizontal surface, the monitor or LCD arm "elbow joint" stops the vertical travel of the arm. But when the unit is attached to a wall or slatwall (and there is no obstruction), the arm can move up and down as much as it is mechanically capable, which is about 15.5". * Using an optional 6 inch vertical extension usually ensures the full range of travel on a desktop. For further clarification, please speak with a representative at Ergomart (888 420 3200), who will be pleased to assist you.
No, the arm only functions correctly when it is positioned properly.
