The sturdy, highly adjustable CONNECT-4 monitor stand supports four monitors side-by-side weighing up to 30 pounds each. Monitors of identical width up to 24.5 inches can be individually tilted, swiveled and rotated from portrait to landscape. The monitors are attached to three connected beams - one central beam 30 inches in length and two side beams of 20 inches. The monitors can be attached anywhere along these beams and the beams themselves are connected by articulating hinges, allowing the monitors to be tilted inwards to create an arc shape. Wires are managed behind the beams via clips and wire guides, giving a clean, uncluttered cabling system. The system can be mounted with a clamp or thru-desk.
The CONNECT line allows for the user to easily modify and adapt the stand if circumstances change. For instance, a second tier of up to four additional monitors can be added with almost none of the original stand needing to be replaced or removed.
Motorized Height Adjustment
The CONNECT-4 quad monitor stand comes with an optional electrically height adjustable column capable of moving up to 10 inches. The motorized electrical lifts and lowers all monitors (up to 150 pounds combined weight) simultaneously. Taking into account the weights of mounting components, the maximum per-monitor weight for the Motorized Height-Adjustable Connect-4 is 29 lbs. This feature is especially useful in settings where a single work terminal is shared by multiple users.
|Connect-4 Shipping Weights and Dimensions|
|Static Column||39 lb, 41"x15"x15"|
|Motorized Column||box1: 15 lb, 27"x9"x4", box2: 36 lb, 40"x14"x12"|
|Clamp Mount||adds 7 lb to box1|
The quad monitor stand consists of three aluminum beams. The middle beam, measuring 30 inches, holds two monitors and the outer beams, measuring 20 inches, hold one monitor each. The beams are connected with hinge mechanisms which allow them to rotate inward and create a curved or envoloping effect. At the time of installation the hinges may be adjustted so that the beams will resist unintended rotation when in use.
Static columns are used to mount the horizontal beams. The beam can be placed anywhere along the column during installation. The single static column is 17 inches in height.
The motorized column is an optional feature. It enables up to 10 inches of simultaneous height adjustment for all monitors when the button located at the base is pressed.
If the beams are placed in a flat or colinear arrangement, the CONNECT-4 is capable of holding four identical monitors of 24.67 inches in width each.
A four monitor setup is often used in security and gaming settings. When a curved configuration is not required or impractical, the highly adjustable CONNECT-4’s monitors can be displayed flat in a straight line, enabling each display’s maximum width to be approximately 24.67 inches.
The CONNECT-4 has outer beams that can be angled inward to achieve a curved display effect. If a two inch deep monitor is assumed, the maximum allowable width is approximately 22 inches for each display when the beams are angled 20 degrees inward. Thinner and thicker monitors as well as shallower or deeper monitor arrangments will effect the maximum monitor width. For wider monitors, extensions are available. Consult an Ergomart representative to determine if the application is appropriate for extensions.
The side view of the single tier configuration illustrates the depths measurements that are also characteristic of dual tier Connect models. It shows the depth of the VESA mounting plane in relation to other points. The 8.5 inches notation specifically refers to the distance between the back edge of a work surface abutting the back of the clamp and the mounting point of the monitor.
The 100 x 200 mm VESA adaptor is compatible with certain larger monitors. It is used to attach the monitor to an Ergomart tilter head, present in all SAA, SA, and LS arms and mounts. If your monitor has a recessed VESA attachment point, you may also need an Ergomart VESA spacer kit, available below in the accessories tab.
This large VESA bracket is intended for mounting a monitor or TV with a 200x200 mm, 100x200 mm, or 120x180 mm hole pattern. The central hole patterns are 50x50 mm, 75x75 mm, and 100x100 mm, enabling this bracket to attach to the mounting location (e.g. an Ergomart Tilter Head) using a VESA 75/100 adaptor.
The large 200x400 mm VESA adaptor plate supports 50 mm, 75 mm, 100 mm and 200 mm square patterns, as well as 100x200 mm, 120x180 mm, 200x300 mm and 200x400 mm rectangular patterns. In some cases an additional 75 or 100 mmVESA adaptor is needed to interface the 200 x 400 mm VESA plate to the mounting location.
The extra large MSU4X6 VESA adaptor bracket attaches to a wide range of VESA patterns from 100x300 mm up to 400x600 mm. The hole patterns on the central plate allow it to be mounted to tilter heads or wall mounts, often using an additional smaller VESA plate (e.g., 75 mm, 90 mm, 100 mm, 200 mm or 100x200 mm) in between.
This VESA 1/4-Inch Spacer Kit allows monitors with VESA hole locations that are recessed by 1/4" or less to be attached to an Ergomart VESA plate.
This VESA 1/2-Inch Spacer Kit allows monitors with VESA hole locations that are recessed by 1/2" or less to be attached to an Ergomart VESA plate.
