Security operations rooms, healthcare central monitoring units, trading desks at financial institutions, multi-screen advanced gaming systems: these are just a few of the computing environments where a large number of monitors must be viewed simultaneously, often by multiple users.
The CONNECT multi-monitor desktop stand is a reliable, configurable, and scalable system designed to fit a large number of such applications. The efficient, modular design allows starting with something as small as a two monitor configuration and gradually expanding to include more monitors, while maintaining visual coherence and maximally re-using the original parts. The components easily connect together to create Dual, Triple, Quad, 2-over-2, 3-over-3, and 4-over-4 monitor configurations. Expansion beyond 8 monitors is possible and currently under development.
A great deal of adjustability is inherent in the design of the product. The relative height of the row(s) of monitors is set at installation. The central and lateral horizontal beams allow the monitors to be spaced with infinite granularity, accommodating a wide range of monitor sizes. The beams may be aligned to effectively create a wall of monitors, or easily angled at the connecting hinges in an arc-like configuration. The premium tilter head design supports a considerable amount of positive and negative tilt, full horizontal swivel, and instant change in orientation from landscape to portrait. The vertically adjustable VESA tilter adapters provide a high-degree of individual control of the relative height of each screen to ensure perfect alignment of the monitors at the edges with those at the center.
The CONNECT's robust and stable construction is built around a sturdy static column and allows it to support monitors weighing up to 30 pounds each. Two options are available for mounting to a desk. The included through desk mount requires drilling through holes in the desk and is better suited for heavier monitors.The optional clamp mount attaches to the edge of the work surface.
The cable management system is simple and flexible. Wire guides that can slide along the back face of the horizontal beams and clips positioned at the attachment point of the beams to the vertical columns are used to route and conceal the various cables.
Motorized Height Adjustment
The family of CONNECT stands comes with an optional motorized column which provides up to 10 inches of simultaneous vertical adjustment to all monitors at the touch of a button, easing the final adjustment step in complex installations and accommodating stations where multiple users of different heights alternate. Please note that the motorized column can move a total weight of about 150 pounds. Taking into account the weights of the system components, the maximum per-monitor weight for the motorized height adjustable version of the Connect is 30 lbs. for the 2-monitor and 3-monitor configurations, 29 lbs. for the 2-over-2 and 4-monitor configurations, 17.5 lbs. for the 3-over-3 configuration, and 11 lbs. for the 4-over-4 configurations.
The modular, versatile CONNECT multi-monitor stand can easily scale from a relatively simple, two monitor version all the way up to a two-tier, 8 monitor setup. The unique design provides plenty of adjustability to the various mounting components, allowing the user to precisely arrange the monitors in the desired configuration.
The CONNECT can be mounted to a desk surface using one of two mounting options. The clamp mount assembly is designed to attach the main column to a desk up to 3 inches thick. It is usually positioned on the back edge of the work surface and does not require any alterations to be made to the table in the installation process.
The through desk mount is recommended for a heavier monitor configuration. It is requires four holes to be drilled into the work surface and provides a very sturdy foundation for the multi-monitor stand.
The simple, stylish base cover snugly fits the profile of the main column and provides a clean, finished look to both the through desk and clamp mount configurations.
End caps are placed at both ends of each horizontal beam. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the caps create a secure location to place tools used in the installation and adjustment of the CONNECT. If required, the end caps can be replaced with hinges when expanding the CONNECT to support more monitors than were present at initial installation.
Hinges are used to connect each horizontal beam segment. They allow the beam to either lay flat, creating a wall of monitors, or can be adjusted to situate the monitors into an arc shape.
Monitor installation, adjustment and replacement is simple and convenient. The monitor tilter head mechanism is inserted into a mount assembly which can be installed without needing to remove any of the other pieces of the CONNECT. This mount and the tilter head can be moved anywhere along the beam to achieve the desired monitor positioning.
Cable clips are located in both the horizontal beams and along the column so cords can be maintained along the entire device giving the Connect-S a clean, polished look regardless of the number of monitors and cables.
The tilter head comes standard with a VESA adapter plate compatible with monitors with 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm standard hole patterns. Other VESA options are available. Please call us at 888 420 3200 for more information.
The height adjustable VESA adapter is a convenient option that allows you to make fine adjustments to the relative heights of the monitors to ensure perfect alignment. All you need is a screw driver. The adjustments can be made with all the monitors already mounted and truly constitute a fine tuning step for this heavy duty stand. The Quad and "4-over-4" configurations of the CONNECT feature standard tilters for the inner two monitors along each beam and height adjustable monitor tilters for the outside beams to achieve the desired monitor positioning.
This plastic cap is designed to sit on top of the vertical column, giving it a clean look. When two columns are stacked, the cap on the lower column is moved to the top of the upper column and replaced by a "single-tier to dual-tier conversion kit".

The extended beams can be adjusted on the hinges to create a flat or arched configuration.
MONITOR HORIZONTAL MOVEMENT
The monitor mounts can be placed anywhere along the horizontal beam, thus accommodating a wide range of monitor sizes.
The monitors independently swivel left and right with only the beam obstructing motion, allowing plenty of range for optimal orientation of each monitor.
The monitors can be adjusted up to 90° in the upward direction and 45° downward with respect to vertical orientation, allowing the user to select the most comfortable viewing angle.
The monitor's orientation can be changed from portrait to landscape with an instant adjustment.
The dual monitor setup places the two tilter mechanisms side by side anywhere along a 30 inch horizontal beam. The CONNECT Dual is 17 inches tall when measured from the work surface to the top of the column. With the beam at its highest point along the column, the center of the VESA plate is at about 16.5 inches from the work surface.
The triple monitor configuration of the CONNECT includes one 30 inch beam and two 10 inch beams, one attached to each side. Hinges are located between any two connecting beams. They allow for the user to adjust the beams so they can lay flat in a "wall" layout or can be curved into an arch. Each monitor mount can be positioned anywhere along its beam. The CONNECT Triple measures 17 inches from the work surface to the top of the column. The highest position for the center of the VESA adaptor is 16.5 inches.
The Quad Monitor CONNECT arrangement holds four monitors across three beams - one 30 inch beam in the center and two 20 inch beams positioned on each side. The single tier column reaches 17 inches from the work surface and the highest position for the center of the monitor's VESA hole pattern is 16.5 inches.
The CONNECT dual monitor stand is also available in a two tier configuration, thus accommodating four monitors. The maximum width for identical monitors is still 28.5 inches. The total height of the dual tier unit is 33.5 inches. When the top beam is installed as high as possible on the column, the center of the VESA adaptor is at approximately 33 inches.
The two tier version of the CONNECT triple monitor stand handles up to six monitors. The maximum width for three evenly spaced identical monitors is 27 inches. The total height of the dual tier unit is 33.5 inches. A monitor on the top row can be placed at 33 inches when measured from the work surface to the center of the VESA hole pattern.
The Four over Four model of the CONNECT is a dual tier version of the quad monitor stand. The maximum width of each monitor is still 24.67 inches, assuming that they are identical in size and that the beams are aligned flat. When the top beam is installed as high as possible on the column, the center of the VESA adaptor is at approximately 33 inches.
In this configuration, the CONNECT can accommodate monitors that are up to 28.5 inches in width each in landscape orientation.
If using three equally-sized monitors with the three beams perfectly aligned, the triple configuration can handle monitors up to 27 inches in width in landscape mode.
With the beams in a flat alignment, four identical monitors up to 24.67 inches in width can be placed in landscape orientation.
Note that in both the single and dual tier versions of the Connect quad monitor stand the outer two tilter heads come standard with a height adjustable VESA adapter assembly.
The side view of the single tier configuration with the clamp mount assembly and the tilter mechanism show that the depth of the stand before the monitor is placed is 8.5 inches.
Static columns are used to mount the horizontal beams. Each beam can be placed anywhere along the column during installation. The single static column is 17 inches in height.
The dual static column is nearly double that at 33.5 inches. The single static column can be modified to a dual column at any time with a single tier to double tier conversion kit, an essential feature for later expansion.
The motorized column is an optional feature. It enables up to 10 inches of simultaneous height adjustment for both monitors when the button located at the base is pressed.

The six standard configurations of the CONNECT with the static column are Dual, Triple, Quad, 2 over 2, 3 over 3, and 4 over 4. Many other combinations are possible with the same components. This page illustrates the standard configurations and a few examples of the virtually limitless optional set-ups. While currently the standard configurations are the only options available via Ergomart’s website, future updates will allow purchasers to take full advantage of the flexibility and modularity of this product. Users can start with a simple set-up and return later to add on to their already existing product when expansion or reconfiguration is desired with no wasted expense. Those looking for a unique monitor configuration can purchase exactly what is needed without worrying about whether the pieces will work together properly. When circumstances change, the product can be easily readjusted and new parts can be added without problem.

The 100 x 200 mm VESA adaptor is compatible with certain larger monitors. It is used to attach the monitor to an Ergomart tilter head, present in all SAA, SA, and LS arms and mounts. If your monitor has a recessed VESA attachment point, you may also need an Ergomart VESA spacer kit, available below in the accessories tab.
This large VESA bracket is intended for mounting a monitor or TV with a 200x200 mm, 100x200 mm, or 120x180 mm hole pattern. The central hole patterns are 50x50 mm, 75x75 mm, and 100x100 mm, enabling this bracket to attach to the mounting location (e.g. an Ergomart Tilter Head) using a VESA 75/100 adaptor.
The large 200x400 mm VESA adaptor plate supports 50 mm, 75 mm, 100 mm and 200 mm square patterns, as well as 100x200 mm, 120x180 mm, 200x300 mm and 200x400 mm rectangular patterns. In some cases an additional 75 or 100 mm VESA adaptor is needed to interface the 200 x 400 mm VESA plate to the mounting location.
The extra large MSU4X6 VESA adaptor bracket attaches to a wide range of VESA patterns from 100x300 mm up to 400x600 mm. The hole patterns on the central plate allow it to be mounted to tilter heads or wall mounts, often using an additional smaller VESA plate (e.g., 75 mm, 90 mm, 100 mm, 200 mm or 100x200 mm) in between.
This VESA 1/4-Inch Spacer Kit allows monitors with VESA hole locations that are recessed by 1/4" or less to be attached to an Ergomart VESA plate.
