This thru desk mount has no base, which gives the mount an attractive low profile.
The column mounts to surfaces using a bolt and a rectangular washer.
Standard 2.5” bolt attaches to surfaces up to 1.75” thick.
Have a thicker work surface? Call to order an optional 3.5” bolt to attach to surfaces up to 2.75” thick or an 4.5” bolt to attach to surfaces up to 3.75” thick.

The MKIT-K with the standard 2.5" bolt length can fit on surfaces from 1.03 to 1.77 inches. Larger surfaces can be accommodated with longer bolts - contact Ergomart to order.

Will your mount kits work with 3rd party arms?

Is there a way that I remove my arm and just put the tilter head in to the mount kit?
No and Yes. Since the tilter head pin is a smaller size than the arm pin, you would not be able to do that without installing an adapter bushing into the mount. Contact Ergomart if you wish to purchase the adapter.

I'm not adding much weight , but wanted a thru-desk style. Do I need this or the Mkit-G?
Both would be good options. Mkit-K works fine especially when the surface material is strong or thicker than 1.25 inches. Contact an Ergomart representative to discuss your application.

What is the benefit of this over a MKit-G?
It has a lower cost and is as strong as the MKIT G when attached to sturdy surfaces. Many customers like the small 2" diameter footprint.

Does the capacity of this mount differ from the Kit-G because it doesn't have a base?
Both MKIT-K and MKIT-G are capable of handling all payloads below 65 pounds when connected to a sturdy and immovable substructure. Adding extensions and substructure composition and thickness can create conditions that make one product suitable over another.
