Mounting Kit M allows users to mount a stationary arm or equipment holder to a roller track.
The mount's back plate is slid into either side of the roller track for installation.
Four set screws fix the mount at any point along the track. Loosening the screws allows for repositioning of the MKIT-M.
When purchased with shaft collars, the mount can be used to hold an Ergomart LS type pole allowing for placement of peripherals above and below the mount along the pole.
Mounting Kit M is an economical mounting solution for roller track users who do not need on demand or instantaneous lateral repositioning capability.
Compatible arm models: SAA7000, SAA2010, SAA2045, SAA179, SAA2718, SAA2415, SAA4229, CMD2018, CMD2415, CMT2415, most TRS series monitor keyboard tray arms, arm based tablet and iPad holders and VE vertical extensions.
As shown in the image on the right, when mounted to the Roller Track rail, the MKIT-M protrudes 2.71" from the mounting surface to the center of the SERIES-118 equipment mounting location.

No and Yes. Since the tilter head pin is a smaller size than the arm pin, you would not be able to do that without installing an adapter bushing into the mount. Contact Ergomart if you wish to purchase the adapter.
The set screws on the mounts are easily loosened to slide the mount over. With very light loads it is possible to leave the arm and the payload on the MKIT-M and slide. Bigger payloads and long arms with extensions will require removal before shifting the mount.
The MKIT-M by itself is easy to move when the set screws are slightly loosened. And lighter loads it is possible to leave the arm and the payload on the MKIT-M and move laterally to the desired spot. Bigger payloads and long arms with extensions will require removal before shifting the mount.
In some cases it is reasonably easy. Loosen all four set screws about two rotations and very slightly raise the arm and payload upward to shift. Be careful not to pull the pin out of the mount. With heavier payloads (over ten pounds) and long reach solutions, remove the payload first.
