No and Yes. Since the tilter head pin is a smaller size than the arm pin, you would not be able to do that without installing an adapter bushing into the mount. Contact Ergomart if you wish to purchase the adapter.
The openings are greater than .37 inches - they can accommodate 3/8", 5/16" and 1/4" bolts and screws. Toggle bolts should NEVER be used in sheet rock unless it has been suitably prepared with thick plywood backer secured to the studs.
No, hardware is not included due to the wide variety of possible surface materials (wood, metal, concrete, etc.) or the thickness of the wall. Different wall surfaces require different types of fastening systems. Work with a professional installer or contact Ergomart for assistance with the correct hardware for the application.
It is dependent on the application, payload and the support device that is attached to the mount. If the MKIT-D is attached to a wall using 5/16 screw toggle kits (rated at over 200 pounds of pullout) with 3/4 inch plywood backer properly secured to studs, then arms with less than 25 inches of reach and payloads less than 25 pounds will be appropriate.
While the wall mount configured Flexible Mounting Kits work well with most arms and light to moderate payloads, the longer more heavy duty arms often perform better with Heavy Duty Wall Mount Kit D. Kit D provides a stronger mounting base which allows for heavier loads and reduces wobble and vibrations. Stability and reduced vibration are important when the arms have keyboard trays and the user keys at the end of the arm.
