EC-EZ4 EQUIPMENT ARM COMPLETE KIT
EC-EZ Complete Kits are pre-designed, yet highly configurable mounting solutions that address common applications. The EC-EZ4 Complete Kit is a wall mount system for positioning and moving large equipment such as printers, all-in-ones, medical or other specialized devices. The Complete Kit provides the ability to select up to three adjustable arms, each fitted with an equipment platform that can support substantial weights. An overview of each component is provided below.

- Equipment Arm (Height-Adjustable or Straight Fixed-Height)
- Equipment Platform
- Keyboard Tray (Optional)
Each EC-EZ Complete Kit includes all five standard track sizes (19”, 27”, 39”, 51” and 78”). The 51” and 78” tracks are available both with and without optional port access holes. These are cut-outs in the track that can be aligned over duplex outlets to hide power plugs and/or network connectors behind the track.
Black is the standard quick-ship color, but metallic gray and matte white are also available with longer lead times.

EQUIPMENT ARMS
The EC-EZ4 can support up to three arms, but can be purchased with one, two or three equipment arms depending on the user’s needs. There are two arm types: the instantly height-adjustable arm and the heavy-duty fixed-height straight arm. Each arm can be mounted anywhere along the track.
The EC-EQ-2415 height-adjustable arm provides 14.5” of instant vertical adjustment - moved by simply grasping the platform attached to the arm and lifting or lowering it to the desired location. It supports between 9 - 50 lb of weight, with two weight ranges, 9 - 35 lb and 21 - 50 lb. The platform, elbow and base where the arm is attached to the track all provide 360° of rotation or swivel, inhibited only by interference with the mounting surface.

The EC-EQ-1288 fixed-height straight arm can support significantly more weight, up to 90 lb, but does not allow for instant height adjustment. The mount does still provide two points of 360° rotation: one at the platform and the other where the arm attaches to the track.

Please carefully consider the weight of your equipment before ordering to ensure that weight requirements are met. Choose the correct arm weight for your payload or the arm will not function properly (this is true for arms that are under loaded as well as overloaded). The EC-EQ-2415 arm does not lock into a specific position (except when fully lowered) and is designed for moving a predetermined and unchanging payload.
Our catalog also features arms with instant vertical adjustment that can also be locked into a specific vertical position. These braking arms can be used to position payloads that vary during the course of their use during the day. Please inquire with our technical support for assistance.
PLATFORMS & OPTIONAL KEYBOARD TRAYS
Each arm comes with an equipment platform, available in three sizes to accommodate various pieces of equipment. The size options are 12.5” x 12.5”, 14.5” x 16” and 14.5” x 18”. The largest platform requires additional lead times. Custom equipment platform sizes are available - please get in touch with Ergomart for any custom work.
Each platform includes a wire keyboard hanger that extends forward to hold keyboards up to 12 inches deep. The EGT 20" Phenolic Tray (20" x 8.5") and EGT 26" Phenolic Tray (26" x 8.5") neatly fit on the adjustable wire hanger. The 26” tray provides enough space for both a keyboard and mouse.

While the total weight supported for each arm is detailed above, the weight limit of the equipment will vary based on which platform is chosen, as they vary in weight. Use the chart below to identify the minimum and maximum weight range for each arm when combined with the platform.

EXPANDING FROM THE EC-EZ4
The EZ-EC4 is a versatile system that can be adapted to many applications. However, equipment arms are only a small portion of the compatible mounts that can be utilized with the EC-TRACK. The EC-EZ4 can be used as a jumping off point for building a system more tailored to specific applications. You can start with an EC-EZ4 configuration and complete it using other modular or SERIES-118 devices. Conversely, you can also add an equipment arm from the EZ-EZ4 product page to a monitor/keyboard wall mounting workstation designed using any of the other EC-EZ complete kits.
