The PM192 Pole Mount System can be affixed to a variety of ceiling structures to create an interface for endless combinations of Ergomart mounting components. Our popular Flange Base, typically used for floor mounting, can be secured to certain flat ceiling structures such as concrete slabs. Ergomart can also supply a range of mount types that mate to common structural and support elements like I-beams, wood trusses, Unistrut, purlins and joists. ADVANTAGES OF CEILING MOUNTING
 
There are many possible reasons to mount and operate equipment from a ceiling based system, such as lack of available floor space, infrastructure limitations, or the requirement to minimize impediments to activities in a bustling work environment. The PM192 system supports monitors, TVs, computer workstations and all types of useful equipment and is particularly appropriate for showrooms, restaurants, bars, and many industrial applications.
 
DUAL FLOOR AND CEILING ATTACHMENT
 
Since PM192 poles can be cut to order for custom projects or even modified in the project site, it is possible to attach poles at the floor and to a ceiling structure for added strength. In fact, poles fixed at both ends are many times stronger when compared to single ended mounting.
 
A FAMILY OF PRODUCTS THAT EXPANDS POSSIBILITIES
 
Equipment can be mounted using Direct Pole Mounts that produce low-profile pole hugging solutions. Alternatively, the single mounting kit MKIT-E or dual mounting kit MKIT-J can be placed anywhere on a PM192 to allow the integration of a very large family of SERIES-118 mounting devices.
 
INCORPORATING ROLLER TRACKS WITH CEILING SUPPORTED PM192 POLES
 
Roller Track rails can be attached to a series of ceiling mounted PM192 poles to create overhead mounting with lateral mobility. One application is the ability to “float” multi-directional computer workstations that can be easily accessed from below with the added benefit of tracking up to 21 feet. This is crucial in production and technical environments with crowded work envelopes where workers and their supporting technology must shift laterally. Useful applications can be found in manufacturing and refurbishment facilities for oil field equipment, turbine engines, wiring harnesses, and any workspace where technicians need to access electronic data constantly while working to the left and right. Ergomart PM192 and Roller Track combinations can also be star performers in studios and sets that require clear floor space and lateral motion in support of any number of requirements.
