able end caps fit snugly to each end of the track to prevent debris and dust from collecting inside.

The end cap has a tab that can be cut away to allow wiring and cables to cleanly enter the track system.

The above photo illustrates the generous available space for cable management - .67 x 1.67 inches.

The above drawing illustrates the wire chases that guide and isolate CAT 5 and CAT 6 sized cables (1/4" diameter).

EC TRACK OPTIONAL ACCESS PORTS

Optional access ports allow for all cabling and wires to exit from the wall and into the 51" and 78" extended capacity tracks. Each track has three ports, allowing for easy access to two power outlets and one data/communications port. Each port opening is 1.63" wide and 4" tall. This track system is designed so that the center of a typical duplex box that is attached to a standard stud will align correctly when the flange edge of the track is properly aligned on the stud. Use of the holes located at the center of the track are not appropriate when attached over electrical and other wiring. The end user will need to drill desired hole pattern on flanges as appropriate.

The EC Wall Track has ample capacity to accommodate a large number of cables. Without the means to conceal them, the resulting system may still look cluttered.

After the equipment is installed and plugged in, the wire cover can be measured to size and installed to cover unsightly cables, resulting in a clean looking workstation.
