PM192 POLES
The PM192 and MCARTs both use the same heavy-duty poles. Poles come standard in four, five, six, seven and eight-foot lengths but poles up to 20 feet can be custom ordered. PM192 poles are made from durable steel and have an outside diameter of 1.92”. Poles are inserted into the receiver present in all three PM192 bases.
The internal diameter of the pole is approximately 1.6" and allows for wires to be fed through the unit via holes located at both the top and bottom. Details about wire management can be accessed in the wire management section of this Reference Guide.
Most SERIES-118 compatible mounting kits (MKIT-E and MKIT-J) and direct pole mounts (PM40, PM44 and others) can be secured anywhere along the pole. A few, the MKIT-Y mounting kit and the PM90 direct pole mount, are designed to be mounted to the top. When mounting to the top, the finishing top cap is removed and replaced with the mount kit or direct pole mount.
