The bases are the foundation of the PM192 Pole Mount System. There are three options available - two of these allow for relocation when attached devices have been removed and the third is bolted into the floor, providing greater stability but no movement. Each base features a wire access hole that can be aligned with the pole to allow for wires to exit through the mount. Details can be viewed in this Reference Guide’s Wire Management section. When selecting a base, several factors must be taken into consideration, including the overall weight to be attached to the pole, the maximum extension of the payload with respect to the mounting point, the frequency with which the stand will need to be moved, the amount of interaction end users will have with the monitors, keyboards and other devices attached to the stand, as well as changes that might be desired in the future. Ergomart representatives are always happy to help assist in choosing what base is best suited for your application.
