MCART POLES
The MCARTs and PM192 pole stands both use the same heavy-duty poles. With the MCART, poles lengths come standard in four, five, and six feet but custom-length poles can be ordered if required. They are made from durable steel and have an outside diameter of 1.92”. Poles firmly slot into the receiver present in the MCART rolling base.
The internal diameter of the pole is approximately 1.6" and allows for wires to be fed through the unit via a hole located at the top of the pole and through the bottom of the pole under the base. Details about wire management are in the Wire Management section of this Component Reference Guide.
Most SERIES-118 mounting kits designed for pole-mounting (MKIT-E and MKIT-J) and direct pole mounts (PM40, PM44 and others) can be attached at any point along the pole. The MKIT-Y mounting kit and the PM90 direct pole mount are instead designed to be mounted to the top. For this, the finishing top cap is removed and replaced with the mount kit or direct pole mount.
