EC Wall Track Arm Capacity

Most of Ergomart's height adjustable arms have multiple capacity ranges. Most models are offered with three cylinder options. The weight of the monitor(s) or device(s) to be attached to the arm must be accurately weighed or verified (without stands or additional equipment attached) to ensure the correct arm capacity is selected. With a monitor weighing less than the minimum lift capacity of an arm, the arm will not remain at the lowered position when released; it will float back up to its highest position. If an arm is burdened with a monitor weighing more than its capacity, the arm will not able to suspend the payload without drifting slowly into the lowest position.

If you have difficulty determining the weight of your monitor, touch screen, iMac, all-in-one computer or other device(s), contact Ergomart for assistance.

Gas cylinders lose a small amount of their lifting capacity over time and monitors may tend to sag after a year or two. In most cases, there is a simple solution: just follow the steps in the installation instructions to re-adjust the gas spring cylinder (generally once every three years). This will take less than 30 seconds and restore the arm to the same lifting strength as the day it was installed. It is always a good idea to keep the allen wrenches that come with the arms for this purpose.
